SMART is an acronym for Socratic Method Augmented with Repetition Training. In the tradition of open source technology, all questions are made available to the public free of charge. Subscribers are able to write answers, view model solutions and save their past answers. Hughes Bennett Education is a studio which produces learning materials using the SMART Learning Method™. Our team is passionate about teaching and our work is influenced by the theories of Seymour Papert about the role of mental models in the learning process, Anne Jorunn Berg about the importance of context when using technology and Kathryn Cross about classroom assessment techniques.
